Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing is an undergraduate course that is similar to that of B.Sc. Nursing. The duration of Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing is two years. It is also referred to as P.B. B.Sc Nursing. The course provides hands-on training and classroom lectures. This course is designed to enhance nursing skills which aim at creating nurses who are professionals and experts in working at hospitals. The candidates must have to obtain a certificate of a two-year diploma in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery). The course is thus a gateway to career growth for general nurses and midwifes who have joined the profession by undergoing the GNM diploma program.

Eligibility:-
Candidates should have passed the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Course.
Candidates should have qualified 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects.
Candidates should be registered as Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM)
Minimum Marks Required (Aggregate): 50%
Minimum Age Requirement: 17 years or more
Age Limit is 48 years on August 31 st of the year of Admission
Duration of the course is 2 years.
