B.E. Agricultural Engineering

BE or B.Tech Agricultural Engineering is an undergraduate Agricultural Engineering course. Agricultural engineering is one of the sub-fields of engineering. In simpler words, it is a fusion of agriculture and technology. The duration of the course is four years and the course deals with the study of applying engineering principles to the food and agricultural industries to make farming easier, more efficient and more profitable through the design and development of new agricultural machinery and through innovations in irrigation systems, power systems, water and soil conservation, etc. B.E. Agricultural Engineering mainly focuses on the study of the application of the concepts and techniques of various fields of engineering to the solution of problems arising in the field of agriculture.

BE/B.Tech Agricultural Engineering is an undergraduate program that lasts for 4 years and is divided into eight semesters. Candidates who have completed their 12th grade in the science stream with 50% marks are eligible to apply for BE/BTech Agricultural Engineering colleges.
