Major Pharmacy Courses

PHARM D – Doctor of Pharmacy

Pharm D degree curriculum is different than that of B .Pharm, it includes extensive didactic clinical preparation and a full year of hands-on practice experience.
Duration : 6 Years (5 years study in the college and 1year internship in the hospital)
Eligibility : Pass in 12th standard / Pre-University Course /PDC /Higher Secondary Course / Intermediate with Physics and chemistry subjects.

M.PHARM- MASTER IN PHARMACY

Duration: Two years
Eligibility : A candidate should have passed B.Pharm degree examination of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences or B.Pharm degree from any other University recognised by PCI with 50% of marks.
A candidate who has passed B.Pharm degree examination of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, of B.Pharm examination of any other recognized Indian University established by law in India.

B.PHARM – BACHELOR IN PHARMACY

Duration : 4 years
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects Mathematics/Computer Science /Biotechnology/ Biology with 40% marks (35% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. Candidates who have passed D.Pharm course are eligible for admission directly to II year B.Pharm.
Age : 17 years and above as on 31st December of admission Year.
Candidates who have passed two years P.U.C examination of Karnataka P.U.C Board or any equivalent examination of any other approved Board or university

D.PHARM- DIPLOMA IN PHARMACY

Course Duration
2 years + practical training of 500 hours spread over a period of not less than 3 months in a government hospital / pharmacy/chemists & druggists.
Eligibility: A pass in any of the following examinations with Physics and chemistry as optional subjects.
Pre-university course / 10+2 /PDC/ Intermediate / Higher Secondary examination in Science.
Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy Part I course: A candidate should pass in any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.
