The Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery, commonly known as BHMS, is an undergraduate course that covers medical knowledge of the homoeopathic system. BHMS has become one of the popular chosen courses by candidates in the field of Homeopathy. Candidates must know that admission to the list of BHMS colleges in Karnataka is granted on the grounds of one of the top medical entrance exams of India, NEET. It is 3rd biggest medical education system in India. Homeopathic medicines are assumed to physically unhealthy and emotionally lifestyle patients. These medicines have no dangerous effects.

BAMS Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must be an Indian national. However, Non Resident Indian (NRI) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) are also eligible for BHMS admission subject to rules and regulations framed by Government of India.
The candidate should be at least 17 years old at the time of the admission.
The candidate should have passed the 10+2 from the Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other equivalent exam.
The applicant must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in 10+2.
The BHMS applicant must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2. In case of OBC/MBC/SC/ST category, it is 40%.
The candidate must have qualified NEET UG 2021.

BHMS Course Duration

Bachelor of Ayurveda in Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S) course of 5½ years (4½ year main course + 1 year internship programme) duration.
