BVSc AH deals with the study of medical diagnostics, and treatment of diseases of the animals. Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & AH) degree falls within the Veterinary Education part of Medical Education in India, and is therefore monitored by the Veterinary Council of India. BVSc AH Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must be an Indian national. However, Non Resident Indian (NRI) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) are also eligible for BAMS admission subject to rules and regulations framed by Government of India.
The candidate should be at least 17 years old at the time of the admission.
The candidate should have passed the 10+2 from the Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other equivalent exam.
The applicant must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in 10+2.
The BVSc AH applicant must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2. In case of OBC/MBC/SC/ST category, it is 40%.

BVSc AH Duration of Course
BVSc AH is a degree that is considered completed in 5.5 years which involves 4.5 years of main course classes and 1-year internship.

BVSc AH Admission Process
In order to take admission in B.V.SC courses, candidates have to study Science up to class 12 with Biology, Chemistry and Physics as compulsory subjects.
Minimum qualifying marks may differ from college to college.
Selection for this course is done on the basis of entrance exams.
