BACHELOR IN PHARMACY (B.PHARM)

B. Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) is the right course for those who aspire to study in the field of pharmacy. Bachelor of Pharmacy is a full-time undergraduate degree course which deals with the field of Pharmacy. Pharmacy is the art and science which involves the techniques of preparation, dispensing and reviewing of medical drugs and providing associated clinical services. The discipline of pharmacy has made enormous progress in production and research. It has attained independent status as pharmaceutical sciences encompassing all the stages in product development of a drug, from its discovery, identification, purity, development, action, safety, formulation, application, quality control, packaging, storage, marketing, stability studies etc.

Duration : 4 Years

Eligibility for the course :

Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination. Board or an equivalent examination of any other approved board or university with not less than 50% marks in any combination comprising P.C.M. or P.C.B. (minimum eligibility should be based on the aggregate of P.C.M. or P.C.B.) or P.C.M.B., P.C. and Computer Sciences, P.C. and Electronics.

In case of students belonging to SC / ST / Category–I / OBC, the minimum percentage of marks for admission to B. Pharmacy course shall be not less than 40% in P.U.C. or its equivalent examination (P.C.B, or P.C.M. or P.C.M.B.), P.C. and Computer Science, P.C and Electronics and D. Pharmacy.

Candidates who have passed D. Pharmacy course with not less than 50% aggregate approved by Pharmacy Council o India shall also be eligible for this course eligible for direct admission to second year B. Pharmacy.
